Ashley McGinn

Lead Stylist / Owner

Originally born in Utah then raised in small town Gunnison, CO, Ashley decided to moved to Fort Collins in 2015 to begin a new adventure. After investing 3 years into her career she had her son in 2018. Coming back from maternity leave, Ashley spent some time working independantly in a suite which lead to her pursuit in opening her dream salon. Over the years Ashley grew her passion for the beauty industry and spent hours getting extra education. This drive helped her find her specialty in modern balayage and blonding techniques. Ashley takes pride in her attention to detail and thoroughness in her craft.

In 2020 Ashley was nominated Top 30 under 30 in the industry by Beauty Launch Pad. In 2022 she was nominated Top 100 in the world’s most prestigious hair competition, One Shot Hair Awards. Over 80 countries participate and there hundreds of thousands of entries. She placed in Brunettes, Reds, and Platinum. She then placed Top 25 in the Blondes Category. For two more years she was nominated Top 100 again in Brunettes, Blondes, Platinum, Long Haircut, & Bob/Lob.

Ashley is an introvert with a very social job, so she loves when she gets to relax outside, visit the hot springs, or head up to the mountains. She’s also a big foodie so an amazing dinner paired with a movie night at home is her favorite way to end the day. Ashley has very limited availability for new clients and recommends booking a consultation to get in on her books.

Marisa Helenihi

Hawaii born and raised, Marisa has been doing hair since 2019, specializing in blondes, lived in color, and extensions. Marisa is passionate about creating an experience that feels welcoming, relaxed, and personal— where building genuine relationships with her clients is just as important as the hair itself. Outside the salon, Marisa loves traveling, discovering new restaurants, and finding any excuse for dinner + drinks, or a good little happy hour. R&B is her constant soundtrack so you know who chose the playlist when you step into the salon and hear that playing. Marisa is a sushi lover through and through and is a proud dog mom of Dozer and Rambo. Marisa looks forward to having you in her chair and crafting a look that feels elevated, confident and uniquely you. XOXO

Daphne Tran

Assistant Stylist / Receptionist

Hi everyone! My name is Daphne and I am a Fort Collins-based stylist-in-training with a deep love for all things beauty, creativity, and connection. I’m currently assisting the incredibly talented Ashley McGinn, owner of Clover and Pine Hair, as I continue to grow and learn in this amazing industry.
My goal is to specialize in lived-in blondes and extensions—creating effortless, natural-looking hair that makes my clients feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves. I’m excited to share a little bit about who I am, where I come from, and the journey that brought me here. This is just the beginning—and I can’t wait to grow with you.
A little about me — I was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, and I’ve always had a deep love for beauty, fashion, art, and design. From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the beauty industry. In 2024, I decided to take a leap of faith and fully commit to that dream. I graduated from cosmetology school in December 2024, and I officially joined the Clover and Pine team in February 2025.
When I’m not at the salon, you can usually find me exploring the mountains, lifting weights at the gym, riding horses, or working on creative projects like flipping furniture and doing photoshoots. I also have a love for collecting crystals, plants, sneakers, cowboy hats, and boots—and I adore spending time with my sweet 17-year-old pup.
This journey is just beginning, and I couldn’t be more excited to grow, learn, and eventually become your go-to stylist. Thank you for following along and supporting me as I work toward making that dream a reality. I can't wait to meet all of you guys
